General Accountant

Department: Finance / Revenue Operations Reports To: Finance Manager

About the Role:

One of our clients is hiring a General Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support monthly/yearly closings. You'll work closely with internal teams and external auditors to maintain compliance and deliver timely financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily transactions and maintain the general ledger Perform account reconciliations (banks, vendors, clients) Support month-end and year-end closing processes Prepare and deliver financial reports to management Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies Coordinate with external auditors and handle legal/regulatory requirements Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations Support procurement processes and purchase order tracking Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–3 years of accounting experience Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations Proficiency in accounting software and Excel Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficient in Arabic and English Experience coordinating with auditors and legal/compliance matters
