Job Summary The Deal Desk Analyst is the liaison between Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations - providing real-time support so deals are structured, approved, and closed accurately and on policy. The role owns a high volume of inbound cases, from custom quotes to non-standard deal setups and AWS orders, while driving the quote-to-close process end to end. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, prioritizes well, and collaborates easily across teams.
Key Responsibilities Deal Execution & Approval Support Partner with sales reps to assess, structure, and approve quotes within guidelines. Review deal terms for compliance with pricing, discounting, and legal policies. Partner with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations to resolve deal roadblocks. Research contract and deal information in Salesforce and NetSuite to support execution. Case Intake, Triage & Management Triage inbound cases by volume, complexity, and legal risk - including custom quotes, non-standard deal setups, AWS orders, and RFI/RFP requests. Monitor email and Slack queues, including overnight activity, to keep cases moving. Maintain SFDC case records with detailed notes and status updates for auditability. Sales Process & Deal Execution Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements. Configure and support RCA and deal workflow automation. Partner with IT to flag SFDC issues and build workarounds until permanent fixes ship. Work with Finance on billing, revenue recognition, and contract compliance, including AWS orders. Cross-Functional Collaboration Triage inbound RFx requests and delegate questions to the right Tiger Team owner, using the standardized RFx delegation roster to reduce re-work and mis-routed questions. Join deal strategy calls with Sales, Legal, and Finance to help unblock deals. Partner with Legal and Finance to clarify contract terms and escalate complex cases. Give feedback to Enablement, IT, and Business Operations on product, process, and system changes. Support sales enablement by helping build sales plays and promotions. Required Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Skills
1–3 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations. Strong Salesforce and CPQ/RCA experience; working knowledge of NetSuite. Solid understanding of pricing models, discounting, and revenue recognition (ASC 606 preferred). Proven ability to manage a high volume of concurrent cases with strong prioritization skills. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across Sales, Legal, Finance, and leadership. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with ASC 606, SaaS pricing models, and discounting strategies. Experience with AWS Marketplace or other cloud marketplace transactions. Experience in high-growth, B2B SaaS environments. Knowledge of financial modeling. Knowledge of contract terms, subscription-based pricing, and multi-year deals. Ability to manage multiple deals and cases in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us? This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
