Maintenance Supervisor - Night Shift

Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and lead a team of skilled trades professionals on the night shift. This is a two-year contract position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone nearing retirement or seeking a short-term, high-impact role. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in maintenance and production environments.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Develop, coach, and mentor a team of skilled trades professionals. Operational Efficiency: Monitor and oversee the ticketing system to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Preventive Maintenance: Ensure timely completion of PM projects according to the schedule. Troubleshooting: Support equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Continuous Improvement: Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting: Prepare detailed shift reports on equipment status, downtime, and other relevant metrics. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. 2-5 years of recent experience in maintenance or production supervision. Strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to work the night shift long-term. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the automotive industry. Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with ERP and/or CMMS systems. Skilled trades background. PLC and/or robotics experience.
