ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for someone to take full ownership of our finance function and replace our existing accounting firm. This is a hands-on, full-function role; you’ll own everything from day-to-day reconciliations through to annual financial statements, with real autonomy and minimal oversight. Full-time, fully remote, with one in-person check-in meeting weekly in Cape Town (Seapoint).

IS IT FOR ME?

Solid full-function bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally having run finances independently with minimal supervision Comfortable owning supplier reconciliations, loading and authorising Confident running payroll end to end and processing loans Strong grip on balance sheet and P&L preparation, gross profit monitoring and overhead reporting Solid working knowledge of VAT, PAYE and UIF Experience preparing Annual Financial Statements (AFS) and liaising directly with auditors and tax advisors Self-directed, dependable and comfortable working remotely without close oversight WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
