At Röhlig Netherlands, approximately 25 people work across two locations in Rotterdam and Hoofddorp.

For our Rotterdam sales team, we are looking for a Key Account Executive to strengthen customer relationships and connect commercial commitments with operational delivery.

What you will do:

Coordinate customer implementation, maintain customer operating procedures and monitor service requirements and KPIs. Act as a link between customers, Sales and Operations, including customer reviews, quarterly business reviews and onboarding support. Coordinate bookings, monitor confirmations and proactively resolve service issues during implementation and ongoing operations. Improve end-to-end workflows, customer data, rates and system configurations, including Realtime 3.0, CargoWise and auto-rating. Contribute to forecasting, allocation management and opportunities for efficient use of technology and AI.

What you bring:

At least two years of experience in freight forwarding operations. Strong communication skills, a customer-focused mindset and a proactive approach to customer retention. Ability to understand complex customer requirements and improve operational processes and system settings. Collaborative working style and confident written and spoken English; Dutch proficiency is required for this Netherlands-based role.
