Accountant in Store Accounting Team for work with Sweden Business Unit

Type of Employment: Permanent

Location: Riga, Latvia

Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)

WHAT YOU`LL DO

Reconcile station-related balance sheet accounts; Clear daily transactions and promptly address any errors in collaboration with site managers based in Sweden; Respond to queries from site managers, business unit representatives, and external partners as needed; Review, prepare, and process journal entries based on information received from business unit and other partners; Answer questions regarding processed financial records; Execute month-end closing procedures, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors; Contribute to process improvement projects.

WHAT YOU`LL NEED

Experience within accounting for at least 1-2 years; Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a last year student within this area (preferred); Fluent in English (both spoken and written) to communicate with colleagues in Europe; Experience with ERP (SAP, JDE experience will be considered as an advantage); Good computer skills (MS Office); Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality; Self-motivated, positive, good team player.
