Pay Details $100,000 Average Annual Gross Pay Average Weekly Pay: $1,950 $5,000 Bonus Occasional layovers with hotel accommodations provided when required Job Details Deliver fresh and frozen groceries using reefer trailers Routes include NYC boroughs, Long Island, and New Jersey Daily NYC deliveries expected Approximately 20-25 stops per week Typically one long load per day, with an additional load when hours permit Occasional returns and backhauls Approximately 1,381 miles per week Driver unloads 1-3 pallets per stop using an electric/manual pallet jack and liftgate Curbside deliveries are common in NYC; NJ deliveries are primarily dock-based Support other local accounts as needed Shift Details Home daily 5-day workweek with a 6th day as needed Start times between 12:01 AM-1:30 AM Off Sunday plus one weekday; weekday off will not be Monday or Saturday Split days off 12-14 hour shifts 6th days required during certain holiday periods Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's work are not guaranteed Job Requirements Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience Clean driving record Valid DOT Medical Card Preferred: At least 3 months of experience delivering in all NYC boroughs Reliable personal transportation to and from work Strong customer service skills No SAP drivers Riders not permitted Equipment & Training 46', 48', 51', or 53' reefer trailers Automatic day cabs Slip-seat operation Trucks remain at the account and cannot be taken home Uniforms provided
