About the job
ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa is a dynamic and fast-growing BPO company based in South Africa, specialising in providing top-tier operational support to U.S.-based companies. We are not a recruitment agency - we act as a dedicated extension of our clients’ teams, delivering high-quality service with precision, efficiency, and a personal touch.
We are looking for a Healthcare Recruiter to join our client's Talent Acquisition Team, a U.S.-based provider of ABA therapy services. This role is ideal for someone with a recruiting background who understands that they are hiring, but who also knows how to sell the opportunity and get great candidates excited to join the team. You will manage the process from first inbound resume through to onboarding, so a friendly, dynamic, and detail-oriented approach is essential.
PLEASE NOTE:
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 4:00pm – 1:00am SAST (subject to daylight saving time). Public Holidays: You will work on all South African public holidays. Compensated in line with the BCEA. Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered. Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered. Work Environment: Fully remote (you must be located in South Africa)
Responsibilities:
Receive and review inbound resumes and employment inquiries, responding promptly and professionally. Screen resumes against role requirements and shortlist suitable candidates. Conduct phone interviews to assess experience, communication skills, and suitability for the role. Promote the company and the opportunity to candidates, creating a positive candidate experience and encouraging them to join the team. Endorse suitable candidates to the hiring team and submit batches of candidates for review within agreed deadlines. Coordinate offers and hires, and keep candidates informed throughout the process. Manage onboarding, including collecting and verifying new hire paperwork and credentials. Accurately document all candidate interactions and keep recruitment records up to date within the system. Follow the client's established recruitment workflows and meet quality and productivity expectations. Assist with administrative projects and other recruitment support tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Proven recruiting background, with an understanding of both assessing candidates and selling the opportunity to them. Excellent communication skills, with a good phone personality and English pronunciation. Friendly, dynamic, and personable, with a positive attitude. Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking skills. Basic computer skills and confident navigation of MS Office and Outlook. Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision. Able to follow documented workflows and work to quality and productivity targets. Professional, discreet, and dependable when handling candidate information and credentials. Ambitious with a strong work ethic.
Beneficial:
ABA therapy experience (recruiting for or working in ABA, e.g. RBT or BCBA roles). Previous healthcare or healthcare staffing recruitment experience. Experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and onboarding or credentialing processes.
If you are not contacted within 14 working days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
