At Air Products, we are seeking a seasoned Tax Accountant to assist with corporate income tax compliance and tax accounting duties spanning various legal entities and countries.
Working within an international tax environment, you will combine strong accounting knowledge with hands-on financial data analysis. You will prepare and review corporate tax computations, evaluate the accounting impact of tax adjustments, and collaborate closely with internal partners and external tax advisers.
This is a hands-on position for an individual who enjoys handling detailed financial information, extensive datasets, and intricate accounting and tax issues.

Prepare and review corporate income tax calculations and associated compliance documents for multiple legal entities. Examine balance sheets, profit and loss statements, general ledger data, and accounting entries to determine pertinent tax effects. Review current and deferred tax adjustments and explain how they affect tax calculations and financial statements. Extract, prepare, reconcile, and validate financial data from ERP systems and other sources. Manage and analyse large datasets using advanced Excel functionality. Assemble accurate details for external tax advisers and carefully assess their calculations and recommendations. Work with finance, accounting, tax, and other collaborators across different countries and business areas. Significant practical experience in corporate income tax compliance, including preparing or reviewing corporate tax computations. Strong tax accounting and financial accounting knowledge. A detailed knowledge of balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, general ledger entries, and the accounting impact of tax adjustments. The ability to work independently with underlying financial data rather than relying solely on external advisers or prepared reports. Advanced Excel capability, including preparing and manipulating large datasets and using functions beyond basic lookups. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to investigate and challenge unexpected results.
