We are looking for Engineering Program Manager to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.  This role will report to   the Sr Manager, Program Management and will be based in  Newark, DE.  This is a fully on-site, in office role 5 days a week.

As Engineering Program Manager at Bloom Energy, you will be a key driver of manufacturing execution excellence, supporting equipment designs/development, installs, production launches, capacity and operations expansions that are critical to meeting our ambitious time-to-power delivery commitments. You will work across cross-functional teams to execute projects safely, on schedule, and with minimal impact to ongoing operations - ensuring Bloom’s manufacturing environment is prepared for high-volume production and sustainable growth. This role interacts with all cross-functional teams across Bloom as well as equipment vendors across the world.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional programs that introduce new operations, processes, and manufacturing capabilities across global sites. Partner with engineering, operations, design, equipment build, finance, procurement, and external vendors to align scope, timelines, requirements, and deliverables. Manage program plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, CAPEX tracking, spend forecasts, and executive-level status updates. Coordinate with partner teams and complex global vendors responsible for designing, building, and delivering manufacturing equipment. Drive alignment between product requirements, process development, vendor execution, equipment readiness, and operational launch needs. Identify gaps in process capability, equipment readiness, staffing, documentation, vendor delivery, and launch preparedness, and drive resolution across teams. Prepare executive-ready program updates covering milestones, risks, investment status, key decisions, vendor status, and escalation needs. Track key performance indicators related to schedule, readiness, quality, cost, CAPEX, vendor performance, and operational execution. Support change management as new processes, tools, and operating models are introduced across regions. Ensure smooth handoff from development and pilot phases into stable operational execution.

Skills, Experience, and Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or equivalent hands-on experience. 7+ years of project engineering or project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment. Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required. Demonstrated experience supporting equipment installations, line launches, or production expansions. Practical understanding of construction coordination, contractor management, and on-site execution. Knowledge of facilities permitting, inspections, and compliance processes. Experience managing cross-functional teams, including Executive level team members

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in energy, automotive, semiconductor, or high-volume manufacturing environments. Familiarity with commissioning, startup, and production ramp activities. Salary Ranges: $110,700.00 - $159,300.00
