Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer (Forward Deployed) - AI Products (Contract)

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to build AI applications for public sector clients. You will work directly with client teams to understand their challenges and quickly deliver production-grade, full-stack AI solutions that serve citizens at scale.

Responsibilities • Partner with public sector clients to scope requirements, gather feedback, and deliver solutions, including regular time on-site at client offices.

• Architect and build production-grade applications that integrate AI models, from interactive UIs to backend APIs and systems.

• Deploy and manage infrastructure in cloud and client environments, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot end-to-end solutions within customer infrastructure.

• Contribute to reusable platform features that serve multiple client use cases.

• Work closely with design, product, data, and QA teams to deliver solutions aligned with the overall architecture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, building production-grade applications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in React (required), TypeScript, and Next.js.

• Backend experience with Python and/or Node.js, and PostgreSQL or MongoDB.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

• Experience building solutions with LLMs and a solid understanding of the Generative AI landscape.

• Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguous requirements and working directly with clients.

• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong async communication.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Arabic.

• Previous experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer or Customer Engineer.

• Experience working with government or public sector clients.

• Experience working cross-functionally with operations teams.
